Post Trip Confessions and Advice

Everyone loves to travel. But no one talks about the dark sides of travel. Yes, that means the depression that one goes through when returning home from a long trip. It's real and it's mentally draining. In my new video, I talk about the challenges that I faced when I returned from my 7 month trip through South America. I've been through these challenges before, so I thought it would be easier, but I was wrong.

If you think you are going through the same thing, don't worry, you're not alone. I'm here to tell you that it happens to everyone. Here is my video and I hope you find it useful!

  1. Mia, don’t over think your journeys. It’s always good to ground yourself when returning to the US. I really don’t look at it as depression, I see that these are different cultures ths t have different ways ofof handling them. It can be scary to see how much ; in my words the US waist much. US takes advantage of what is so free in hand. When you were in RIO, I saw how relaxed you were. The US has areas that can have you be relaxed as well. One of my favorite places, Sadona. Check it out.
